Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, “What do I actually value?”

It sounds like a simple question, but most of us live our lives without ever really digging into the answer.

We get caught up in routines, habits, and social expectations, and before we know it, our priorities don’t always match the life we say we want.

One of the clearest ways to understand what you truly value is to look at where you spend three things:

Your time, energy and money.

We Say Health Matters… But Do Our Choices Match?

If you ask people what they value, most will list the big three straight away:

Family, health and happiness.

But take a look at how many of us live:

  • We don’t think twice about spending hundreds on a weekend away.

  • We’re happy to upgrade the car, the phone, the clothes.

  • Nights out? Meals out? A random Amazon haul? No guilt at all.

But when it comes to investing in our health, suddenly the mindset shifts:

  • “A trainer is expensive.”

  • “Healthy food costs too much.”

  • “I’ll start when life is less busy.”

  • “I can’t justify spending money on a gym/massage/coach.”

And yet… this is the one area of life that keeps every other area running.

Your health is the foundation underneath everything you care about.

Your Body Is Your Most Important Asset!

We sometimes forget this simple truth:

You only get one body. One.

You don’t get to trade it in, upgrade it, or swap it out when it starts to break down.

We protect our cars better than we protect our own health some days.

We service them, clean them, insure them—no hesitation.

But our bodies?

We often wait until something’s wrong to finally act.

Where You Spend Is Where You Prioritise

It’s not about guilt. It’s about awareness.

If you believe your health matters most, then let your actions reflect that.

This isn’t about spending money recklessly — it’s about aligning your choices with your values.

What Do You Want Your Future Self to Thank You For?

Picture yourself 1, 5, 10 years from now.

What version of you do you see?

The one still putting themselves last?

Or the one who decided their health, strength, and happiness were worth prioritising?

You are your greatest asset.

Your body is your home.

Your health is your freedom.

Treat them like they matter. Because they do. The moment you start aligning your actions with that truth, everything begins to shift.
